The public beta does not require an account. Your working route is stored in your browser so you control when it is removed.
What MileMeld stores
Route stops, resolved coordinates, route type, and daily optimization count are stored in your browser’s local storage. MileMeld does not currently store guest routes in its application database.
Address and map providers
Submitted address searches are sent from the MileMeld server to Geoapify when configured, otherwise to OpenStreetMap Nominatim. Interactive map tiles come from OpenStreetMap. These providers receive the technical information required to serve a request under their own privacy terms.
Routing
Coordinates are sent by the MileMeld server to the hosted OSRM routing service to calculate distance, duration, geometry, and an improved stop order. OSRM receives the technical information required to serve the request under its own policy. MileMeld application logs are designed to avoid raw address and coordinate payloads.
Deletion and retention
Use Clear in the planner to remove the working route from this browser. Clearing site data in your browser also removes MileMeld’s local route and usage information. Because accounts are not open, MileMeld does not claim account deletion or server-side route retention controls yet.
